    I bought this as an upgrade for my laptop that had a much smaller HDD. After only 6 months the HDD failed and I had to send in for a new one. (Yes it was the HDD, not the laptop or any of it's internal connections). Aside from that, it gets the job done. Just beware of potential short lifespan.
