Slow Hard drive

Worked great, until it didnt!

I am not sure why but all of the sudden the device started acting funny, and the usual "zip and spin" you would hear from a hard drive began to sound like the disc would not spin or was jammed up. Needless to say all of my data is gone.....Thanks Western Digital for the junk you sell us.

Not What I Wanted

Came home and put it aside to tend to a sick family member. Opened the box and packaging only to find that it is an INTERNAL storage device. Of course I was past the storage date on the receipt so I'm stuck with it now!!! Next I'll time read the box myself!

2nd Hard Drive in 6 months

Less than 6 months later the same thing occurred and they put in another hard drive (paid for 2 so far). Less than 2 months and I am on my way back to Best Buy tomorrow my computer will not shut down again.

Died after 8 months

Purchased this in March to replace a dead hard drive in my Lenovo laptop. Worked fine, but now it’s November and it’s already stopped working. 8 months is not a very long life for a hard drive.
