    I bought this drive so I could replace the 500GB drive that comes pre-installed on the new PS4's.Just so everyone knows this drive is compatible with the PS4. Installation was easy and so far I haven't had any issues. I would have rated it 5 stars but it's still early.WD makes excellent drives I have purchased them in past and have not had any failures. Hope this helps.

    Went in to try to retrieve information from old laptop for new laptop. Old laptop hard drive had crashed and was unable to retrieve information from old hard drive. Associate recommended this as a replacement for old laptop hard drive. Works great as was the service.

    Worked great. Faster than the OEM drive. Works with Win 10. I always buy Western Digital drives, Great price from Best Buy and pretty easy update. Finding the HDD on a Dell Inspiron is a big job and not easy...........must take the whole laptop apart.

    I wouldnt recommend using an HDD for long term storage of sensitive data, but it works well enough for insensitive stuff. The cost is well worth it when comparing similar capacities for SSDs.

    Works perfect on PS4 ,very easy to install, and if you follow PS4 PlayStation instructions, you can easily upgrade from 500GB to 1TB for less than 60 bucks

    Nice little drive that fits in almost any configuration. Great for extra storage. Good price point to be able to use it as a clone for your primary drive in case of catastrophic failure. Just swap it out and go!

    This drive was an upgrade from my original 500 GB hard drive. I cloned my old drive to the new drive before installing. It worked without reinstalling software. The drive fit fit into the location in the laptop. Everything aligned.

    I actually used this drive to replace an original Sony PS3 drive. I went from 300GB to 1TB! The drive performs as expected and because it is a Western Digital drive, I expect to be able to use it for quite some time as I have used WD drives in Desktop PC's as well. I highly recommend this drive.

    The nine year old Dell I have HD finally threw the towel in. Had a new 1 TB HD installed by the guys at Best Buy for a very reasonable price that included the WebRoot virus program. This HD made the old Dell almost as quick as the new MAC Book Pro I have. I now run both lap tops side by side for different task and am totally impressed with the new life the Dell has. I really was just repairing the Dell as a back up computer - but now - I walk over to it and use it as a frisky lap top that it never was before. For no more than the up-grade cost of $79.00 - I would recommend to anyone that has an aging lap top to go to the Geek Squad and have them install a new higher capasity HD. You won't be sorry. Yes - the Dell Bloat wear is also gone - so that helps too.

    I replaced this on my laptop as I crashed my previous hard drive. It is compatible with all new laptops, still see the specification to confirm that this will work. The packaging and quality of the product was excellent. Installing this was not problem. I recommend buying this 1 TB hard drive specially if you like to store videos and pictures.

    Purchased this drive to replace a locked out drive on a Lenovo. Drive installed easily (for Lenovo) and is fast. It is superior to drive that was in the original PC. I would recommend this drive.
