Saved My Bacon

I had originally bought a 480 GB SSD, but that wasn't enough space. So I bought this one. I had someone set it up and transfer my files. All is good. I have also noticed an increase in speed when booting up and working with multiple windows.

My laptop was slowing down and now that I got this new hard drive, it has not been slow :) glad I purchased this instead of buying a new laptop!

Reliable brand for hdd replacement

An ssd wouldve probably been a better option, but for the price and the 1tb storage, couldn't pass up a good deal. Haven't had any terrible experiences with WD yet.

WD Hard Drives are Hard To Beat!

Quality, Performance and Priced Right! I used it to replace a Toshiba hard drive that failed in an Asus laptop. It formatted without any issues and, loaded Windows 10 effortlessly and very quickly!

Laptop hard drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this hard drive to downgrade my laptop from Windows 10 to 8.1. It didn't work. When you put in the 8.1 disk it will not see the hard drive. I worked for three days and finally gave up. I am stuck with Windows 10 which I hate. All that is not the hard drives fault. WD makes a great hard drive.

Was very easy to install. Instructions were very simple and easy to read. My ps4 works like a brand new system after having freezing and crashing issues.

Great replacement for older hard drive

While the hardware is easy to instal (depending on your laptop model), if you are replacing your old drive you will need to re-install the OS so its not as easy as just replacing the hard drive.
