This instslled easily and is working on my laptop. You will need to install an operating system which i had to also buy windows 10 to install.

Perfect replacement HDD

I was able to connect it effortlessly and it works flawlessly. Appears much quicker than the original one installed from the factory with the same specs.

Laptop hard drive

When you put in the 8.1 disk it will not see the hard drive. I worked for three days and finally gave up. I am stuck with Windows 10 which I hate. All that is not the hard drives fault. WD makes a great hard drive.

Great replacement for older hard drive

While the hardware is easy to instal (depending on your laptop model), if you are replacing your old drive you will need to re-install the OS so its not as easy as just replacing the hard drive.

Items have always arrived in time and there's always good communications. I.e., buying and returning an item. I highly recommend them.

So it was interesting to hear it needed a new hard drive. I was a bit surprised that we replaced a 2 TB with a 1 TB, but truly, that's probably a lot more than what I need - - so I'm happy!

Western Digital Blue 1TB

My laptop has remained issue-free to this day...

The 1 tb drive is a world of difference

Oh but now the new 1TB drive opens a whole new world graphics really pop. Recommend all 8GB drive owners make the upgrade. Thanks Geeksquad for the transition help.

Very fast access time and the great dependability of Western Digital. Thanks to the GEEK Squad they transferred all my data from my old crashed drive. I was up and running again in no time.

The hard drive is working!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My computer fell of the counter, it stopped working, I took it too best buy geek squad found that the Hard Drive was damaged.they replaced it with the Hard Drive in this review,they called me the next day said it was repaired. So far so good it seems to be faster?.
