    Great 1 TB Hard Drive. This was a gift for son to upgrade PS4 from 500 GB to 1 TB. He woke up and opened his present, swapped out hard drives and had it installed within one hour.

    I bought the WD Mainstream 1TB HDD to replace the 500GB HDD that came with my PS4. A real gamer needs a lot more space for downloads these days. WD is a very good choice when it comes to HDD's.

    Needed a replacement for a failed HDD in a PC for a client. Best Buy had this HDD in stock and on the floor for purchase. Unboxed the HDD and pushed our standard image onto it. The PC came right up, no issues at all letting me know and confirming that the HDD was operating as expected.

    The hard drive in my laptop died. This was the one the Geek Squad recommended for replacement. They were able to salvage all the data on my laptop and it has worked fine since.

    This is a pretty good drive, overall, but not one I would recommend for a performance boost. With a spindle speed of 5400 RPM, it's good for storage but I wouldn't really recommend it for a primary drive unless you're in a bind and need a good, dependable cheap drive with a lot of storage.

    I had an old Toshiba laptop with a 120gb hard drive and Vista. I had a new Windows 7 install and used this WD 1tb drive. It is now a nice laptop to use for my work.
