A little large
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as a replacement hard drive for a 13" Dell 2 in 1 laptop. After taking out the old drive, and putting this one in its place, I noticed it was just slightly thicker. If you have ever taken apart one of the new 'thin' laptops today to do anything, you will see there isn't much room in there. The thicker hard drive made it tough to get everything back together, but I was able to 'squeeze' it into place. I'm not sure if a Seagate drive is any thinner or if the solid state drives are thinner and would make a good replacement option, but I didn't want to spend a couple hundred bucks to find out. So I just went with this drive. It's still working fine 6 months later. So just be aware if you are getting this for a thin laptop that you may have some installation issues.

So Far So Good

However I bought WD because they always last a long time or have for me in the past, so do what I did, brand recognition.
