    I brought my laptop to the Geek squad for repair. The hard drive crashed and required replacing. This 1 TB hard drive was recommended and subsequently installed. I have had no problems since.

    Old hard drive heated up and melted. Couldn't get any data off it. Hard drive replaced. Seems to be working great. Wondering if my fan is going and that is why the original hard drive melted.
