2TB drive for 60 dollars is an amazing deal compared to other competitors. Despite being 5400RPM only it’s still a bit faster than my old 7200RPM 500GB HDD from Toshiba. While Speeds of HDD doesn’t really matter especially for gaming, but moving large amount of files kind of does, I had around 428GB of files I had to move from my previous drive (Toshiba) and it took less than 20 minutes. It’s also very quiet as well even when moving a lot of files or just general use.

This Western Digital 2TB hard drive works just as well as the more expensive drives but costs less. I had no trouble installing it and it works fine thus far. It has lots of room for the money.

OK, one cannot really review a hard drive after owning it only a month. Unless its bad out of the box you still don't know anything about its reliability, a huge factor for hard drives. I have had good results with other Western Digital HDDs so I expect long life from this one as well. If I think of it I'll update this review in 3 years. :-) I bought this drive to replace my system's original HDD which was failing with uncorrectable errors in a few dozen sectors. I was disappointed that the included drive migration software -- Acronis TrueImage -- would not clone the drive after finding the bad sectors. This is not a big deal, though, just download the free version of HD Clone and use it.

Got this to replace a 1TB seagate drive that was failing. Got it for a decent price and extremely easy to install. As a primary drive it works good, but is loud compared to the seagate drive. Other than that.....pretty happy with its performance!

Great price for it and so far so good. Came with screws and it was easy to connect for my computer. You will need to buy a sata cable though.

I’ve always used WD products and this one doesn’t disappoint

Bought to create a 6tb storage pool in windows 10. I have several WD drives, green, blue, red nas drives, and a couple of old black performance drives. All work great though I now use SSD drives as my boot drives for thier fast speed.

This was a good value because it was fairly priced. It was also easy to install and worked well.

Added this hard drive to my wife's new computer for some more picture space . Very easy install works perfectly. Never had a problem WD !!!!!!

2TB sata hard drive works great for my backup unit, and the price was reasonable.

Usually I build my own computers, but this time I just bought a basic one, and used this as the main hard drive. 2TB is great for all the games I play so I don't have to keep deleting and redownloading

Purchased this hard drive to use as a replacement/upgrade for my iMac 2007. Worked great and installed like a dream. Formatted for Mac use upon installation and now my 6-year-old Mac is booting quickly and loads applications with great speed.

Not much to say here. great storage, reliable performance, but keep expectations in check. If you are doing any video editing/rendering or gaming, this drive will not be the fastest drive, look for a red or a black. If you just want to store programs or files on this as a mass drive for your PC, great performance for the price.

Its a hard drive thats used for storage. Fairly self explanatory

This hard drive has great value and works like a charm. Easy install (kinda) into my iMac as a replacement harddrive. Just remember to buy the right cable for the thermometer as well if putting this into an iMac.

Seems to be doing great. Installed it as additional storage in my Lenovo LOQ desktop. It installed easily in the case easily. It took me a bit to find out how to properly initialize it but it seems to be functioning well. Dropping and retrieving files is easily done.
