No issues worked well and did not have any problems

This hard drive works perfectly. I'm currently using in an external hard drive case connecting to my pc using a usb 3.0 connection

I have used this brand for years and still have PCs used every day up and running on the same disk for anywhere form 5-6 years

Was not able to install this hard drive to my computer. I'm not sure if the issue was my computer, or the hard drive. I ended up taking it back to the store.

From 5/2021, to 1/2022, this drive began to fail. I had to get a replacement. I could not access this in any capacity, but fortunately the Sabrent dock's cloning feature worked to copy this drive into a Seagate drive. Seagate over Western Digital. I'm not sure if I'll ever trust WD again. They used to be so reliable...

Item was as expected and works fine just require some instruction for installation.

For the price of this thing, it is a great hard drive. plenty of space and speed.

Returned it. Wanted an external and this was recommended. Makes no sense. Not happy.

WD does it again! HDD size and speed at a decent price. Never had issues with past products from this manufacturer and excellent support on-line. Basic install, if brackets or screws needed - should be with mobo. Making BYO pc easy when parts are affordable to the knowledgeable. Always recommend Western Digital!

Is a great hard drive I installed in my PC and work very well

Drive failed almost immediately. I had tossed all the packing, so I had to go through WD warranty support, who was kind enough to make me pay for shipping back to them. I haven't trusted the replacement refurbished drive enough to do anything with it yet, after the first one failed out of the box.

worked for two weeks, bummed I lost my movies after moving them to this HD

I plugged it in and it didn't even work made noise and that's about it messed with my SSD drive

This drive worked well for a little over two months. Then today I plugged it in to do my backup as I always do. It immediately deleted both partitions on the drive and subsequently would not repartition due to bad sectors. WD used to stand for quality, now they're going the way of Seagate and leaving us with no easily available options!

Don’t waste your time, get a seagate. Slow and has its issues

Drive failed within one year. I would recommend always get the extra warranty for easy instore replacement.

SUCKS!!! Didn't last 2 years. Suffered catastrophic failure. Can't even be used as storage.. Not recognized as connected as external hard drive. DO NOT BUY WESTERN DIGITAL HARD DRIVE.....This is the 2nd one that failed fast
