Works great wouldn't mind having another one it does well for my autistic eight-year-old

Needed a new internal to complete a build using my stock of salvaged parts. This was the perfect size for what I needed, and went in without a hitch. Quiet, fast, and plenty of space as an OS drive.

Quiet, Moderately fast still running 24/7 for last 9 months.

I've had this HDD for about a month and I haven't had any problems with usage. Don't expect blazing fast speeds from this one. However, it's primary function is to store large files and backups, as well as photos and videos. All I can say is that it works... I also have a few games stored on here and the only difference between this HDD and a NVMe SSD is the loading times. It's still faster than a PS4 HDD though. It's too early to judge the long term reliability, but I really hope it doesn't die on me for at least another 5 years.

This 2TB HDD provided an insane amount of storage for such an incredible price. You cannot go wrong with WD!

Plenty of space to store all of my data. Easy to install and Acronis software made cloning my old drive easy. Hard drive is a little noisy, probably due to the energy saving features since the noise is the hard drive powering up when used.

I recently purchased this item at a local Best Buy to replace my old HDD that has become corrupted. This item was easy to install and had been working great for me!

This is an excellent, low cost no frills high storage drive. Performance is middle of the road but reliability is among the best in class. Perfect for a second drive in a tower.

good for what i use it for, has a lot of space on it. i have a lot of games downloaded with still a ton of space!

Excellent for storage, I'm cramming stuff on here like there's no tomorrow. Fast enough for excellent video playback and music. I assume it would be good for gaming but that's not what I got it for.

Its a great price for an hdd. I recommend this as a secondary drive or when building a homw use pc.

have been using the drive on a new build for a few months, with no issues, the drive is large and allows for plenty of room for photos ect. quiet and reliable that about sums it up

I've used Western Digital internal drives in the past and they have always been very reliable. And they're very easy to install. You can't go wrong with this drive.

I upgraded my old 320GB HD on my 2007 iMac with this WD 2TB HD. It is working just fine, no issues during install or OS setup. Definitely recomended.

Was able to install and format this hard drive myself, after never doing anything like this before. The capacity is ginormous and it works beautifully. Would absolutely recommend, for the price.
