Easy to install, OS loads even faster than before.

Using a small SSD as the main drive in your PC for the OS, while using a HDD like this 2TB WD drive for storing programs and data works well. The computer gets a speed boost by having the OS on the SSD, while the large size of the HDD gives plenty of room to store apps and files.

I’ve always used Western Digital hard drives for my clients who look for a more affordable option and always pick them up at Best Buy because I get the product locally and at a great price. No issues when stress testing.

I've been using WD hard drives as storage drives for a long and haven't had any issues as sending it for warranty yet. There's a reason why I keep buying it when I need additional storage especially when "The Price Is Right."

Excellent device, excellent price. Did need SATA cable that was not included, but do not recall whether that was stated on the device spec. Installation took only a few minutes and curb side pickup made purchase easy. Am quite pleased and satisfied.

I was recently in need of replacing a failing hard drive in my Mac Pro Desktop circa 2008. I chose the WD Mainstream 2TB hard drive and so far it 's proven to be a very capable replacement. The cost was reasonable and the performance to date is just what I needed.

This drive was needed for a computer upgrade and worked very well. I found it met my needs very well and used it until other parts of the computer failed. The drive is now awaiting installation in another case.

Was working to up date and back up my computer (Still running Windows XP). Long story short I used my external WD drive to save my data and installed a 2TB WD drive. both worked well. Though I was unable to Image my drive yet I am confident that the support is readily available from Western Digital Support.

I've always had good luck with Western Digital drives, I hope this drive will be no exception - and I trust it will. I am using this drive as a daily backup for my operating system and files, and it's performing well. Highly recommended!

I upgraded a client's Dell PC from a 256GB drive to this 2TB drive. I used the free Acronis cloning software you can download from the Western Digital web site to clone his old hard drive to this one. It was easy to use, and I experienced no problems with the cloning. So far, the drive seems good.

It held upnto the cloning process amd works great in the tower i put it in.

Western Digital makes great hard drives and this one is no exception. I prefer Western Digital as they have never failed me, unlike the Seagate that died on me after only three years. I've got Western Digital drives going after 10 years and I expect the same for this one.

Replacing hard drives sucks, period, but it isn't TOO difficult and this one worked out well. No issues -- knock on wood -- so far with the performance of this drive.
