The Western Digital HDD is the perfect size for storage of my music, videos, and photos. It's the perfect choice for a second drive in a desktop. Easy to install with Windows 10. The drive shows up in CMOS and is ready to format in Windows.

used this to build a pc for my nephew, worked perfectly.

Smooth storage. Works as intended. Holds all my games and movies.

Great drive. No issue after a few years. Fast enough for any stronger needs.

I've always used WD drives because they're the best in my opinion. Like most everything these days, it doesn't come with much paper documentation. Although If you're buying a hard drive I guess you most likely already know what you're doing.

The WD drive offers a large amount of storage space for a low cost. Its simple design allows it to work well with computers, game consoles and other type of hosts.

This is a good drive in terms of longevity and its slower speed appears to mean it is rated to last longer, but its not as fast of a drive as other 2tb drives on the site, Its not done a bad job at all as my secondary drive but mine is nearly full as of right now, and will probably need to be replaced with a bigger size.

This is a great second drive for backing up desktops with SSD/etc. storage. Price vs. capacity is a good value if one doesn't expect SATA-SSD performance.

I purchased this as a storage drive and it's perfect. Quiet and a good amount of storage for the price. If you plan on storing games, I'd probably use a WD blue or black vs the green but if it's just storage you're looking for, this is perfect.

Needed more space for my computer and this solved the issue.

My old hard drive was very slow. I took it to the Geek Squad, they said it needed replacing. The new hard drive is very fast. I cannot find the information that was "transferred." But the New Hard Drive is lightening fast.

It seems to work well. And the Geek Squad was wonderful taking their time with me both going in and coming out.

I’ve used this as a backup drive for all the movies and pics that I have on my PC, love it no issues and really affordable price I only paid $50 after taxes.

Even in today’s market it can be said this is an older hdd (first coming out in 2015/2016) but man it still does fantastic for the money and is great for budget storage

It’s great, installation was extremely easy and set up was even easier. It’s a great addition to my desk top, I’ll probably be getting another one soon.

Bought this to replace the backup drive that was full. Moving files from the old disk to the new was easy, but knowing which part of "Control Panel" needed to be opened took some time to find. Doubt someone who has little experience could figure it out.

Working wonderfully, and a great price! I may pick up another one, or maybe two!

This is a great hard drive for anything you would want.

I used this hard drive in a HP 8710w to upgrade it . It now has room for Windows 7 and 10 .
