Easy install - does not come with SATA cable though, make sure you purchase if you're adding on to an existing build

have been using the drive on a new build for a few months, with no issues, the drive is large and allows for plenty of room for photos ect. quiet and reliable that about sums it up

Excellent for storage, I'm cramming stuff on here like there's no tomorrow. Fast enough for excellent video playback and music. I assume it would be good for gaming but that's not what I got it for.

I've used Western Digital internal drives in the past and they have always been very reliable. And they're very easy to install. You can't go wrong with this drive.

I upgraded my old 320GB HD on my 2007 iMac with this WD 2TB HD. It is working just fine, no issues during install or OS setup. Definitely recomended.

This Hard Drive does what it is supposed to do plus a little more pick it up if you are in need of a reliable internal Hard Drive with decent storage.

One of the most reliable HDDs on the market. Over 92% of Western Digital drives purchased in the past three years are still going strong according to 2014 data compiled by Extremetech. I've tried other manufacturers only to return to WD. They may cost a few bucks more but they're worth it.

Western digital is one of the best hard drive brands to buy. High reliability and good speed for a standard hard drive.

This is called Mainstream, but it's actually WD Green drive. And as others know, Green is not for the performance. So, if somebody buys this for the main drive, he or she will probably disappointed. But for the data storage, I'd say this is really good for the price. I don't upgrade my system very often, so I was using multiple ~600GB WD Blue drives, but decided to buy this and put all the data into this one drive, and it works fine. I don't really feel any slow down compared to old setup. And this takes less power. Since I have not used this for long time, I cannot comment on how long this would last, but as of now, I think this is a great choice for the storage drive.

I needed more storage space. Found this hd at a good price for it's size. Easy install and set up. no more than 10 minutes and it was ready to use.

WD Blue's have lasted 10+ years in our home computers so bought some replacements for when they die. Great drives.

This is my 2nd one purchased for my PC. The 1st was purchased a while back and worked perfectly. Now I have 4TB. The software made it easy to copy every tin over from my original drive.

We have come a long way since I bought my first computer. I remember paying $200 for a 20 Meg HD, yes meg, not gig. What's next?
