    Needed a large drive, would have preferred a ssd but the cost isn't there to justify it. speed is good and it is a large drive.

    I experienced 2 real good purchases on the 1 TB drive for family members, so I decided to try the 2 TB version for my computer. I have experienced some (intermittent)drive noise with this version. not sure if this will become a problem or not. Thus far the noise lasted about 2 days of high pitch bearing noise. has not recurred after that period I plan to keep the drive assuming it continues ok.
