Worked great as a replacement hard drive. You'll need some technical knowledge to install and format.

I use WD drives to store data, separate from original HD which has the programs. This brand is problem free for me. (One Seagate and Window Vista HP crashed on me in the past).

Its a great hard drive but i dont like having the drive make so much noise. It can bee distracting

main system hard drive had crashed, plugged this right in and used the back up usb drive I had created when I first sensed a problem and within minutes everything was working normally.

It worked exactly as intended and as I needed it to. The screws it came with were too short for my computer, that's the only complaint I have.

I did not expect it to be massively thick but thankfully it did fit in the slot. I love that it has four screws inside the now box. Came in super handy for the slot I wanted to insert. Its gonna be used for my games and videos.

An incredible hard drive. It works well with Windows XP and seven. And so far, no complaints.
