    I recently installed this new hard drive into my desktop because my old hard drive was failing. My computer now works and I isn't slow and lagging.

    Geek squad did the install and setup for me. I did the application and file restorations from my cloud backup. Everything worked great. No problems.

    I have tried different brands of hard drives over the years and it seems the Western Digital brand is the most reliable. This is all I buy now.

    I purchased this drive a little over a month ago and it has worked as advertised but it's slow. Can't beat the price but if I were to do it over again I'd go with a 7200 rpm drive

    I prefer WD to seagate. They seem to last longer. Rotation speed is 5400rpm so not lightning fast but the drives last many years.
