    Been using Seagate and Western Digital for years. They have their ups and downs, but for the most part make quality HDs.

    Sometimes you just need a reliable drive for archival. This drive fits the bill. The 2 year warranty is a bonus over the identical Seagate Barracuda and can't be beaten for the price.

    Good Hdd cost less than $45 . 5400rpm spin quiet it fit my need for pictures Including 4 nuts.

    The hard drives work but one of the reasons I purchased these was that they were bundled with a copy of Acronis True Image. This is not really true. You can download a copy, but it is locked to use with a WD drive and the software can't be installed at all if the WD drive is not installed in the computer so it can be recognized by the installation utility. That means the software is useless if these are installed in a separate drive array, like I did.

    Purchased these disks to backup some data we have had laying around for a very very long time. Performance wasn't an issue as they will just sit in a locked room until the data is no-longer needed.

    The drive works fine however you do want to make sure you follow the cloning software instructions or windows 10 may get confused on how to boot when you change out the drive
