My God, how disk drive prices have fallen. 2 TB of storage for 69.00. I bought it as a backup drive for several computers in our home.

Bought this HD to use it with P3D flight sim, but it was slower than expected. Kept it as a backup drive but not a game drive. Would recommend if they will use it for other than flight simulation.

I only wanted a 1 TB but was sold out, had to settle for 2TB . Only reason I gave it 4 stars.

Awesome drive at a good price. Works as expected. Fast read/write and solid dependable service that I have come to expect from WD.

Hard drive failed and needed another quickly. This drive did the trick. Replaced a WD drive that failed after about 1 year (reason for the 3 stars). Now...that's another issue. Drives should not fail that quickly. For the most part, they do last longer on most of my devices.

How much can one say about a hard drive? It works.

Basic bare bones drive low rotational speed used for archiving files.

Good replacement drive or additional drive. I thought it was a bargain too.

It's a little slower than my previous drive, but so far is working great.

Works well but a hybrid drive would be more responsive than this one.

I got this to replace an existing drive in my desktop computer. I really wanted the black version (7200 rpm) instead of this blue version (5400 rpm); but Best Buy does not carry it in their store and I needed it ASAP. It is noticeably slower - very much slower.

good use for backup of pictures and movies. also split to store linux system.

Lost some sectors almost immediately after install, but it seems fine now.

Went in easy ..so far so good it was big enought to handale all my needs

Good buy for an internal drive, no problems with setup and operation.

I was very easy to install. It accesses data very quickly.

5400 rpm too slow and returning for a 7200 rpm or sad . Note rom was not listed on box was not listed on box . Had to research later. Good if you don’t need or want fast disk access

I bought this Western Digital hard drive, brought it home and started to transfer my video footage to it and found out that it just stopped in the middle of the process. I tried it a couple more times and it failed again. I took it back to BB and exchanged it for another drive. It seemed fine but then it started to fail at random times again. Ugh. This will be going back again. I have bought many drives and this is the first time I have ever had a major issue. I have had good luck with Seagate in the past. Western Digital doesn’t seem as reliable.

Still working with uploading info -slow but steady

For me, WD Blues are the most reliable hdds you can buy. Reliable and good warranty
