I was disappointed with the noise and speed of this drive. I switched it out and went with a SSD.

The hard drive was to big and bulky.. it might be a great buy im not sure but i had to exchange it

It is the loudest I have ever had. After 20 days, I installed it internally on a new PC for storage. Sounds like an 8-year-old PC, I think that very soon I will take it out for garbage ... If what I mentioned before does not bother you, it does the job.

I'm sure this is a good product but my computer repair man could not get this model to work in my pc.

Good quality made but don’t fixing in the space for 2012 IMac 27 inches.

Nothing wrong with the drives but I returned them when I found a better deal with more storage capacity.

Recieved a wd blue 5400 rpm hardrive instead of the green one. Not a big deal and not best buys fault

Geek Squad was supposed to have backed up Data before installing old drives into new Windows 10 Machine. They did not back up Data as asked & lost a good deal of our data. Embarrassed they will not return phone calls or respond to the recovery of this loss. When we received the Western Digital Drive at pick up it was empty! It has been about a week and still have not heard back from them. They are waiting for time to run out we believe to relieve them of their responsibility . Geek Squad seems to prove to be a bad investment! Very Nice Folks but Poor Service! Don't care so much about the review points but really want to WARN other customers of this situation and it would be nice if Best Buy would contact and remedy this issue!

Slow but steady. Better drives available but not in the store and needed. Works in a pinch.

It's your basic hard drive. Needed a smaller version associate gave me wrong one

I dont at all recall having caused this but that sata connector terminals were damaged somehow beyond repair. Either they need to be more durable or be easier to repair with parts that are available.

Not as fast as I thought. Great for storage. Have to purchase more memory

Didn't fit the ps4. Intended for the ps4 skin, requires a 2.4 instead.

It takes some time to load files in the hard drive.

I got this as a replacement for a dying hard drive in my Windows 7 computer. The BIOS recognized it just fine. The OS on the CDROM failed to load on it. I tried a lot of things to get around it, and I can think of a couple more that I might try, but so far nothing worked. And, while I was trying, I burned the 15-day return period. Today I went to Best Buy to see if they could help. The GeekSquad wanted $100 to load the OS (even though I had my own OS source disks there, so it wasn't that I needed to buy the OS). Note that I spent less than $100 for the disk itself. And they wouldn't exchange the disk, because it has been more than 15 days. So I'm not a happy camper thinking about Best Buy at the moment. The problem may or may not be a faulty disk, but I'm getting no help from them; they're not standing behind the product.

You might be able to get the WD REDs at this price point

used for backing up files, work well. I would like to see a longer warranty

Quality control is bad. My hard drive makes a tick every 10 mins or so. It sounds like walking on gravel. Cant even return it because I burnt the box already. But hey, its 2tb so that cool. ggs

No issues worked well and did not have any problems

This hard drive works perfectly. I'm currently using in an external hard drive case connecting to my pc using a usb 3.0 connection
