It wouldnt work on any systems no matter how much was done

WD does it again! HDD size and speed at a decent price. Never had issues with past products from this manufacturer and excellent support on-line. Basic install, if brackets or screws needed - should be with mobo. Making BYO pc easy when parts are affordable to the knowledgeable. Always recommend Western Digital!

The Acronis software (which should be downloaded and installed in advance of installation ) made it very easy for me to clone my old drive (1Tb) onto this new drive (2Tb) to be my Windows bootable "C". Only took 2-3 hours of sitting around and it was done. Not bad considering the large volume of data. I have a good deal of experience with this type of installation, but it seems it would be basic stuff for anyone with a minimum of PC knowledge with a willingness to follow instructions. Works great, as expected from a WD drive. I own several. They should send me a T-shirt.

I began getting the 'blue screen of death' with my old hard drive when it began to fail, so I went to best buy and got this. It's a good deal for 2 TB! I installed this without much of a problem. It includes software to clone my old hard drive, which was fairly simple to use. I was back up and running within hours as though nothing had ever happened.

For the price, there are various options to go with...but going the cheap route can often go bad with hard drive purchases. I'm happy to say spending a fairly small amount of cash on this 2TB 'mainstream' ('green') hard drive from Western Digital has paid off. While it does lack the read/write speed of a traditional 'black' series Western Digital performance drive, this 2TB 'green' mainstream drive does the job. Loading games on this guy is still fairly fast, while transferring large files to and from this drive is relatively fast and problem/error free. A very good purchase for people wanting additional drives for storage, or a low cost storage solution for budget PC's.

I bought this drive to build a expansion drive for my Dish Hopper. Was easy to install and has been working great for a year. Recommend this drive!

Good drive for storage. Not the fastest for games if that's what you're looking for Grab blue, black or throw it on an ssd if you're looking for speed

I purchased this drive to replace a 1 TB Barracuda ST31000 Seagate 7200 Drive. It appears to perform just as well and runs quietly too. I thought the price was reasonable for a 2 TB Drive as well.

Always been happy with wd drives. Works plenty fast for me and plenty of storage at a sale price.

Works very good not much else to say it works fine no problems

4TB hard drive so it works only with Windows 10/11 because of the GPT required setup to see the full drive space.

I've used WD hard drives ever since I built my own computer, and they have lasted me many years. The price on this one was great.

Good budget data drives for a mirrored pair. Time will tell if the MTBF is sufficient.

Cheap spinning storage. No complaints, would buy again if needed.

I got the 2tb option for fotos of stuff. you're not allowed to see what is on here though

I had never installed a hard drive before, but this simply replaced the dying one, plug for plug. The hard part was getting the cage out. It runs perfectly.

I can always count on WD Hard disk drives. Connected to an external enclosure from a failed Seagate drive. Works flawlessly for my backup on iMac.
