    This drive is not 7200 rpm, its 5400 rpm. I'm sure its a fine 5400 rpm hard drive, but the online description is misleading. I just returned it and replaced it with a WD Black drive, which is in fact 7200 rpm.

    Ran this drive as my back up drive. Drive quit and wouldn’t respond after 18 months of use. Was glad that it was only my back up drive. Will not get another WD drive

    About a month after the warranty expired I noticed the unit was noisier than before. I ran some diagnostic software against it and it failed on the long generic test before even 2% of the test completed. Although the drive still seems to work, I won't take a chance with it. The disk was used in an HP-x310 Data Vault.

    I purchased one of these HDDs in January, and it was on the fritz from the moment I put it into my build. I bought another one earlier today in an attempt to replace that earlier HDD, and it stopped working after one (1) reboot! I'm sticking to Seagate drives from now on, unfortunately.
