Western Digital hard drive delivers both performance and value.

I purchased my WD from Best Buy. They had the best buy and I didn't have to order on line from another state and wait days for the item. I have always used Western Digital. I have been given some other name hard drives and one company failed within two months. If I didn't save my information on other drives as well, I would have lost valuable data with no recourse. I'm sorry doesn't bring back priceless information you have been saving. I shop Best Buy and have for many years. Good work!

Used to replace a hard drive failure in a DVR security system. Very easy to install and no setup necessary. Plug and go.

These 2 Terabyte internal hard drives are great for desktop machines, which is why I bought 2 of them, to add to my desktop machine. I am not pushing my machine to do high end graphics or gaming, but I did want a lot of storage for audio and video files, and these will take care of my storage needs for a while.

Excellent product it has exceeded my expectations at every turn, I purchased this product completely by mistake as I thought I was buying a 2.5 inch sata drive, but decided to keep and try this one to skip more wait time. I can honestly say that this was an unexpected but satisfying purchase mishap. I would recommend this product if asked.

Instead of being stuck on the shoreline, this drive, with its 2 TB capacity, is truly MAINSTREAM. It's certainly not the "secondary tributary creek" like a 500 GB drive would be, but its also not the "ocean" that a WD Ultrastar He10 10 TB would be either. Anyway, if you need an average, everyday performer to store your junk on, jump on into the MAINSTREAM and get yourself a WD 2TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive for Desktops! You'll be glad you did!

Exactly what I needed! Added more space to my home. Security system. Now have eight cameras and all of them are able to record all the time. Fit perfectly and works as it should.

I was migrating physical disks files from NAS servers , easiest way was to use this in place to hold the data until the NAS drive was put in place.

Had to replace a hard drive in my asus laptop and this was the cheapest and fastest hard drive that fit the bill.

Great drive for the desktop. I have a Mac Pro 2008. Every once in a while a hard drive dies. By then the new drives are larger and cost less. I transfer all of my files to the new drive. This drive installed an formatted without any problems. Check back in a bout 10 years to see how reliable it is.

Great hard drive to store all your media on! Loads games just fine

I was able to install it very quickly and get it up and running in my system. I was looking for a storage drive for my home server and this fit the bill perfectly.

Great hard disk and easy to install. But acronis software is not good and fails to back up data.

I have been using WD Drives for many years in my system builds. I have not had a WD drive fail in years. There was a time when any drive builder was having a rough time in Quality Control. But WD was always my go to choice. They may have been a bit more expensive, but the low number of fails and quality control was worth it. I run this drive 24/7 in a RAID back up system. Reliability is key. Great drive at a great price.

It seems to work well. I haven't used a platter HD in years so it was surprising how slow it is compared to my SSDs. But, I bought it as my dedicated dropbox HD, so I never really need anything that's fast since it's really more of a backup.
