Walked in and spoke with the Geek Squad. Informed them I was looking for a hardrive for our video surveillance system. Picked up one these. This was my first time installing something like this. It was a breeze. Installed in a couple minutes and works fine! No problems.

It was so easy to install and I have not had any slowdown while playing my games.

I purchased this to use as a storage drive and just to save data on it, worked out really well.

Product works as advertised. Salesman should have informed me that I needed to purchase an SATA cable separately. I had to make a special trip back just for that. And then, the salespeople didn't know what it was! Took 3 people to finally figure out what I was talking about. They then informed me they didn't carry them!

I needed to replace my main hard drive on my Open labs Miko timberland Edition that is a computer,a keyboard and audio interface. Loaded this hard drive in and now the board is running like a champ.

We needed a slave drive for my son’s gaming pc and decided to go with this one. It wasn’t too bad to set up as I hadn’t worked on computers for several years now. The pins on the back didn’t come with a jumper but later I found that I didn’t need them. Otherwise, pretty good drive for what it costs.

It works really great in my security system box so I could download videos onto my drives works wonders!

Made my pc run a-lot faster and smoother after installation from a previous 1 TB hard drive.

Basically I've never had a problem with Western Digital drives, so I wanted to stick with this brand. I didn't need a high performance drive, just a basic workhorse. The drive has performed well as a backup drive and I've had absolutely no problems with it.

My friend PC only came with 128 GB of space so this was a great option if you're not going to play games that consume lots of ram and space. This is mostly for archives and video storage.

Installed 2 of these in a pc being converted into a Plex home server. Work as needed so far without the added cost of "NAS" drives. Too early to tell if they suffer from a shorter lifespan

Item works great and it helped my computer storage wised.

My father's PC was running out of space because he likes to store videos. This was the perfect cure I used Acronis to clone his current drive to the new one and he was up and running within 15 minutes with more drive space than he knew what to do with.

I added two of these to a raid cage and I have a rock solid back up system. Great product.

Great HD for the money, Western digital has always come through with great products. I've only had one issue with WD and they made it right with now issues or delays (not this product).

Smooth storage. Works as intended. Holds all my games and movies.
