Over the past 10 years I've gravitated away from Seagates to WD drives for their reliability and cool running temps. This is just another example of an excellent WD drive at an unbeatable price.

I have Enhanced my sons desktop with this WD Mainstream internal Serial ATA hard drive,with the 64MB cache, Im experiencing fast processing speed. The 2TB capacity is enough for now.

Needed large drive to hold an expanding itunes library and this does the trick. Not sure what format drive was in but I always format new drives in my Mac regardless. Does everything I expected it to do.
