Good quality, easy to install, cheap price, fast performance

Bought this WD drive to replace a Tivo hard drive, worked like a charm! Over the years any of my hard drive needs have been met or exceeded with WD products, just buy/deploy/relax !!! Very pleased with price/performance/quality.

Seem reliable and great value for the price. I've purchased about 15 of these (2TB version) in the last 24 months and haven't had any bad ones. Will continue to purchase.

I need to replace my hard drive, it was starting to crash, instead of just replacing it I installed a Solid State Drive instead for the Programs and I installed this Drive for storage, my computer is now running quicker than before and I have enough storage for what I do.

Super easy to use. Fast and with lots of storage. I have zero computer skills and I was able to replace the old one, for this one and install windows with no problem at all. Easy and simple to use.

This is a great hard drive. I installed it in my pavilion PC in the extra slot. Needed an extra SATA cable and power supply cable. Needed a clone program to clone my old failing 1 TB drive to this new 2 TB drive. It all worked as expected. The new drive is fast and so far so good!

Slapped platen drive this into my kiddos PC for extra storage. Works great for everyday computing. I installed a NVME M.2 for the OS and programs.

I bought this as a gift for my cousin and it works well to this day. Its one of the fastest mechanical drives on the market. If you are looking for a storage drive that can play some modern games this is a good budget buy.

I was gonna buy a 1TB hard drive but when I saw the price of this 2TB hard drive for just slightly more than a 1TB I grabbed it! I have had great previous experience with Western Digital hard drives so this was an easy choice. So far great as usual. I highly recommend this product.

I have purchased many hard drives in the past and this has one has meet all expectation. I am using this to store my movies and pictures and I love the access speed. It was a great price and was easy to install. If you are look for an inexpensive internal hard drive, this is the one to get.

With all the info out there giving high praise to SSDs, I took a chance on this mechanical drive because of the low price point. It has been beyond worth it. It's fast, cheap, and the data capacity is bountiful.

Don't let the 5400 RPM speed fool you, this 2TB hard drive is still fully connects to any 600MB/sec SATA III motherboard/interface and is backward compatible with SATA II and SATA I. I bought this to replace an older hard drive that was failing and in the heat of the moment of getting such a good deal for a 2TB drive, I failed to notice the 5400 RPM speed. But to my surprise my backup image of Windows 7 Ultimate showed this to be as fast as the best laptops I've seen that use hard drives, and it's very quiet as well. All in all I've purchased three WDs "Mainstream.. for Desktops" in the past month and they replace six old hard drives that BestBuy kindly accepted for recycling. Smooth, fast and quiet this 2TB model is.

Runs well and hasn’t died after 2 years. Pretty fast, doesn’t make me regret having it versus my ssd’s

This hard drive is well worth the price and offers a good amount of storage. I have two in my build so I have more storage than I know what to do with. The price was really good also.

This is a very good hard drive. Good price for the capacity of the drive. No problems with the first format of the drive. With the capacity of this drive I am able to easily Map/mirror the entire capacity of my Home Server drive, including all picture, music, and video files.

This is the best deal ever! I'm very impressed with the speed and the storage on this device. I cannot imagine why I didn't get one of these sooner. Very happy with the drive.

It works great as a storage device. It is the best budget HHD drive you can get for your video and document files. As a second drive, I don't really worry about the reading and writing speed.

Works perfectly for offline storage as my older backup drive was full. 5 bucks more than one half it's size and fast enough for the use I put it to.
