not much to say here this HD does everything as advertised.

Good amount of storage for the price. Plenty of space for file storage

needed additional back up storage. so far working good, no problems. not the fastest drive, but does its job.

Easy setup, no known issues, been running for a while without any concerns

Having only had these drives for a few weeks so I cant really speak to their longevity but so far they have been great. Very quiet and operating temperatures has also been good. Several sites had these drives listed at 7200 rpm but I believe they are really 5400. Got them onsale which was a big plus.

Great hard drive for $68. Simple installation worked quickly and promptly I would recommend it thank you.

The Apple Time Capsule was showing the amber light notification that the hard drive had failed. I opened it up and connected this WD hard drive and it worked perfectly.

Does the job.good price wd is the only way to go on a hdd

I bought two of these drives to replace one that had failed in less than a year. I configured as a Raid 1 mirror. I am not a gamer so I needed redundancy more than speed. These drives seem a little quieter than the drive they replaced. Of course maybe that is because the original was already going bad from the start. So far, they have not missed a beat and I am happy with the setup. My first time setting up a Raid array but was quite simple with my motherboard.

These are standard general-use hard drives now well behind the bleeding edge, so a pretty good cost/benefit tradeoff when they are on sale. I've experienced no problems with them.
