we needed a 2TB drive formated NTFS and this drive works great!

So far our new smart tv has been all it is supposed to be. The only glitch has been that we tried to watch a live stream of church meetings and were unable to do so on the internet. We have no idea what was wrong. We had to resort to a computer hooked to the tv to get the meetings to stream.

Does the job.good price wd is the only way to go on a hdd

This is a good high capacity HDD. Since it is a green drive it gives up some performance. Great for backups.

I bought this to add more memory on my computer tower. I am a photographer and so I am uploading lots of photos during my events. It’s easy to overload my computer. This device works perfect for me.

My husbands computer was old as dirt. I couldn't afford a new one for Christmas so I did the best best thing. I took it to Addtech and he upgraded the tower and he is happily and speedily uploading, downloading and gaming away!

Hard Drive Upgrade For TiVo. I upgraded my hard drive in my TiVo Roamio. I replaced it with WD - Mainstream 2TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive and it installed and allowed the TiVo to configure it & boot up with no issues.

The Apple Time Capsule was showing the amber light notification that the hard drive had failed. I opened it up and connected this WD hard drive and it worked perfectly.

These are standard general-use hard drives now well behind the bleeding edge, so a pretty good cost/benefit tradeoff when they are on sale. I've experienced no problems with them.

Great product. I have always had long life out of WD drives. Bought this one to store and play home videos. Fast response time. Replaced my 1 TB drive very easily.
