I got this HD to store all my movies, pictures. Did not have to do much easy to install and setup.

It works great and it is easy to install and quiet.

It seems to work well. I haven't used a platter HD in years so it was surprising how slow it is compared to my SSDs. But, I bought it as my dedicated dropbox HD, so I never really need anything that's fast since it's really more of a backup.

Easy to install and does the job for inexpensive storage of PC data.

Excellent hard drive. Reliable and got it a fair price. Would buy it again.

HD was purchased for a HeimVision security camera system for the home. I have 4 cameras set to lowest sensitivity and programmed to record during movement. 2TBs was enough hard drive space. It used approximately 1% of the space daily. The HD was necessary to record security footage instead of just enabling it as live viewing.

Exactly what I needed! Added more space to my home. Security system. Now have eight cameras and all of them are able to record all the time. Fit perfectly and works as it should.

My son needed a hard drive for his gaming desktop. When he asked me to get a Western Digital, I didn’t even hesitate to order it and do a curbside pickup on the same day. It didn’t take him long to install and get his desktop going. I’ve had WD hard drives many moons ago and they’ve never failed me.

As soon as I gave them my name at curbside the attendant was back with my order within a couple of minutes. As it was raining, and the attendant not wanting me to roll down my window and getting wet, he motioned for me to open the trunk and I did. I stayed dry and all ended well. One very satisfactory experience

Needed to copy some files from a failing drive and this was just the ticket. ordered it online and drove to the store, gave them my order number and the associate came right out with it. I chose the WD drive because I've used them for years and have always had good luck with them, and, I am hard on hard drives. :)

Both my Dell desktops were just under 2 years old and both of them had their hard drives go out within a few weeks of each other. If course Dell wouldn't help me. Did some research and found out that I wasn't the only one that has had the same problem with these Dell hard drives. I love this hard drive. I got 2 of them. Super easy to install and was up and running in no time at all.

Western Digital has been in the computer industry from the very early years. This drive continues in their tradition. I am using it as a system back-up for my new desktop - I have an external drive docking station and make a backup each week. This drive is perfect for the job. WD is a good choice for your hard drive needs.

Fast, quiet, easy to install. gets the job done. Probably will get another.

The hard drive in my computer apparently was in imminent danger of failing. I bought this hard drive to replace the failing drive. I was able to clone the old drive to this new one with surprising ease. When I booted up after installing this new one, it was like nothing had even tried to go wrong. Except for one extra reboot to install new drivers, you couldn't tell that anything had changed.
