Computer recognized hard drive right away and runs very quiet.

My main disk that holds Windows is faster of course, but this drive does a nice job keeping up!

I have used WD for majority of the time, except for a few time and tried other brands. For the most part at least WD never just stop working or start to get that funky knocking sound that when a hard drive starts to die on you. Some would say I just been lucky and clone a new hard drive before it started, but still I been using WD for almost 3o years and still reliable hard drive brand. I give it 5 stars, but did not want a big head for bragging. I needed a larger hard drive for my creativity and very easy to use and thank you WD for cloning.

Great value for the price. I'm using this as a data drive in my desktop.

Was a little tricky getting my computer to recognize it at first but afterwards no problems and it works great for movies, pictures and any game that doesn't have to access the drive constantly.

Put these in my desktop for more storage ! Was easy to use and install.

I was looking for a full SATA digital drive, and I ended up with this one by mistake. I thought it was bit deceptive to call it a "SATA" drive when in fact its a disc drive, but the SATA reference is to the wiring connection form. For a disc drive it works fine and provides a really good value for the money, but I only expect three or four years out of it at best. Disc drives fail far faster than a true digital SATA drive. So I plan to put in a digital SATA as a synced backup anyways.
