Great drive

I recommend WD as their quality is superior to Seagate in my opinion. I have an 8 year old WD drive that still works but have went through 3 Seagates in less than 4 years because the were on sale. That will never happen again.

Transfer Software
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When ever you use a WD drive you get full access to a software tool called 'Acronis True Image WD Edition Software.' This tool did everything I needed to set up my new drive. Very Awesome.

Great, inexpensive hard drive.

Western Digital is usually better

They're not real fast, but they're usually reliable. Although we haven't had any problems with the drive, it rattles when it accesses data. I haven't heard a noise like that from a hard drive in 15 years.

Great backup storage device

I can transfer files much faster to the internal device than I can to an external USB storage. I recommend this highly to anyone that needs to quickly back up files.

solid performer
