    Windows 8 freaked out a bit when I installed this drive. Windows said I had to do a full recovery. I ignored this message,I did memcheck and ran a diagnostic and rebooted and it has been working fine since.

    it's a good drive. it does everything it's supposed to. However, I bought this to put games on. I would not recommend this drive to someone who is looking for extra storage on their gaming PC. the download speed is terrible. again, if you don't game this drive is great.

    Good drive! It does what it's supposed to (read and write data). This is you're standard desktop hard drive. Great for storing your data or using it as a backup drive. No fuss no muss.

    I have used a few of these WD GreenPower drives and they seem to last just beyond their warranties before mechanical failures kick in. I only bought this one to replace a previous failed one because of price.
