Dead after 2 years

Haven't used it much as it's in a computer that isn't heavily used and also because as I've recently had another WD drive crash with all my data on it and haven't been able to retrieve it, I'm a little uneasy about using WD drives.

Can't use on MAC without modification.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't get it, why would WD make a drive that has same connector as an OEM WD for MAC, but it does not relay HD's temperature. I had to download fan control software. Otherwise, iMac was running fans at high RPM. Annoying! It is not an easy job to replace the drive and you find out that it's not working only after you assemble the unit.

Decent drive

But it’s definitely not compatible with a DDR3 motherboard it’ll cause your computer to crash. So check your specs before purchasing. Or be like me and have to return to the store 3 times cause they crash everytime.

Kept it as a backup drive but not a game drive. Would recommend if they will use it for other than flight simulation.
