failed almost immediately

I had tossed all the packing, so I had to go through WD warranty support, who was kind enough to make me pay for shipping back to them. I haven't trusted the replacement refurbished drive enough to do anything with it yet, after the first one failed out of the box.

Failed after two months.

Then today I plugged it in to do my backup as I always do. It immediately deleted both partitions on the drive and subsequently would not repartition due to bad sectors. WD used to stand for quality, now they're going the way of Seagate and leaving us with no easily available options!
