Great HDD for what it is

I haven't used a platter HD in years so it was surprising how slow it is compared to my SSDs. But, I bought it as my dedicated dropbox HD, so I never really need anything that's fast since it's really more of a backup.

Of course the staff was knowledgeable and eager to help as always. Been running this for a month now and no problems. Plug and start, worked as soon as I partitioned it. Would recommend if you're looking for extra storage space and don't have the money for a cloud external.

Great HD for home cameras!

I have 4 cameras set to lowest sensitivity and programmed to record during movement. 2TBs was enough hard drive space. It used approximately 1% of the space daily. The HD was necessary to record security footage instead of just enabling it as live viewing.

Western Digital 2TB SATA hard drive upgrade.
