Great HDD for what it is

I haven't used a platter HD in years so it was surprising how slow it is compared to my SSDs. But, I bought it as my dedicated dropbox HD, so I never really need anything that's fast since it's really more of a backup.

Great Drive

Windows 10 requires you to go into your settings and initialize the drive, so there was some time where I couldn't figure out why it wasn't showing up. That's not the drive's fault, I only mention it so that if you're having the same problem, you'll know how to fix it.

Easy to Work With

It was easy to install, and then worked quite easily for me to reload the operating system and other data. While having a hard drive crash of my previous hard drive was not a good day, this one made the repair of my computer, and hence one of my favorite things, easy. Love it. There were no odd things that needed to be done to the drive that I saw. There were no odd problems during install. It just worked great.

Good dependable storage hdd

Small load times but not even noticeable. Dont expect blazing fast nvme speeds, but also wont guve you super sluggish speeds either.
