I have replaced 1 TB drives for 2 several times. I use them for karaoke. I have a large library, bigger than a TB. These drives fit the bill nicely. When I've replaced these with SSD drives, I use them as external drives in a case I buy at Best Buy. They make great external drives, also.

Purchased for my PS4, easy to install. Allows the PS4 to have more space for additional games or content. Runs faster than. Installed drive. Plus you can use it as an extra PC drive if needed.

Worked as it should. Got my PS4 running real nice.

Easy, youtube will walk you through it if like me you have never done this. I have an Apple, avoided 2 weeks of waiting just to have them put in a new HD and it cost under $100.00 and only took 20 minutes. I don't see a difference with this versus the original at all! Totally worth it to me.

So far so good. Just bought to upgrade my daughters ps4 and it was quick and easy to do.

So my son’s PlayStation stopped working. I researched troubleshooting online and then talked to the Best Buy Geek. He was on point. Instead of buying a new console I changed out the hard drive myself! And Downloaded the system again. And it worked!!!!

Didn't get to use it had to return it but still great item it would have been great in one of my other laptops but neither one of those is working right now so as far as the hard drive goes to terabytes would have been excellent

Purchased this to upgrade the 500GB HDD in my PS4. It works fine. Sometimes there is some delay on loading games or content which was not happening before on the old drive, but otherwise I'm still happy with having a ton of extra space for games and saves.

Using this drive for extra storage and to hold all my game files. Drive is quick and responsive.

Installed this in my Asus FX505GT gaming laptop about a year ago just to add more space and not use the op drive. Has worked well. The price was good. Would like an SSD in its place one day but it hasn't been important so far.

For those of you seeking an affordable upgrade to your internal storage on devices such as a PC or game console, this little HDD does a fantastic job. In my time owning it, it’s done a great service replacing the default 1TB HDD in my PS4 Pro with 2TB to work with!

Alright normally I would give this five stars but I bought this to double the capacity of the new PS4 Slim I got for Christmas and I switch them out fun fact the hard drive bracket is actually deeper than the hard drive that comes with the system and the same is true with this drive. I replaced the drives and set everything up but then it started constantly crashing. Sometimes it would crash then I would turn it on but then other times it would crash and when it came on it said that the system software hit a glitch and asked me to send an error report. However I know the software is fine because once I put the stock drive back in everything was fine. Thankfully I still had my external drive. So I'm sure this is a great drive and maybe someone else can make this work in a PS4 Slim. I would stick to using it in a laptop. So I would still recommend it. Just not for a PS4.

I bought this for an ACER laptop to expand the storage. I would have preferred a WD Black drive for the better warranty but I could only find a 750MB version of that for sale and I needed more space. I've had this about a month--so far it is flawless.

Bought this HDD for a mini desktop PC that i turned into a network server. I'm impressed with how reliable it has been. I haven't managed to take not even 1tb of data but I'm glad i have 2tb in there.

Perfect! This is a retail kit which I believe is better than the bulk drives sold elsewhere, also some other retailers sell out of region items which have no warranty. Buy with confidence and get this from BestBuy!

Other Western Digital is in the leading market for hard drives this would be considered the budget hard drive foremost home consumers if you're more of a gamer graphic artist then I would go with the black or red Western Digital.

I had a PS4 with a 500gb hard drive. For extra storage, I had an external hard drive hooked up, but that got to be inconvenient. This 2TB HDD was the exact upgrade in was looking for. 4x my original space, without the need for an external drive.

I bought this because the 500gb hard drive on my PS4 had hit it's limit. Knowing that the file sizes for games are only going to increase, I opted to buy a 2tb hard drive. Installing the drive is super simple, and it works like a charm.

Needed a 2.5" 2 TB external drive as a backup. I only buy hard drives from Best Buy as they are always in the retail box and not "refurbished" AKA used. As always, this one worked great. Highly recommended.
