Used this HD to upgrade PS4 internal memory. Very simple installation in combination with Nyko Data Bank for PS4.

This drive for the size is a very good deal. I use 2 of them in my network attached storage. I haven't had any dead sectors or lost data in the few months they have been in use. They are quite and do seem to run fairly cool. The speed at which they deliver data, on the other hand, could leave a little bit to be desired. They wind up a little slow. Not something I would like to use for intense or quick data needs. But great for backup and large file storage.

Have purchased this brand before and will again. Good price for 3tb hard drive. Also is compatible with linux.

I'm currently using this to download a local copy of my iTunes Library I keep stored in the cloud via iTunes Match. Installs in seconds if you know what you're doing, well even if you don't it's quite easy. Windows recognized it, formatted it, and I was off and running.

While the first one i got was defective out of the box, Best Buy Geek Squad was nice enough to confirm this and they formatted the next one at no charge. Easy to install, just plug it in and start using!

The hard drive does what it is intended to do. Provides plenty of disk space while not being the fastest card on the market. This card is great to use as an additional storage to go alongside a ssd or 7200 rpm card. The drive works perfectly and is consistent.

Was able to access most to the disk space using the True Image program provided free for Western Digital.

This disk was so simple to install in my Dell desktop. Less than 20 minutes to swap out disks. Disk started right up and is working perfectly. Great product, great price!

Bought this unit to replace a Seagate 3TB external that suddenly failed. It was truly plug & play. USB 3.0 makes it super fast. I'm sure I'll be getting a few years of service out of it. All my Seagates are finally gone. Only WD from here on out.............won't be sucked in by sale prices again....

For 7200 rpm hard drives, has large capacity for a reasonable price.

Purchased for use in Windows 8 PC. The drive was recognized automatically, installation was simple, no partitioning or special formatting needed. Older OS's might require additional work to utilize the full storage capacity. I verified that my motherboard and controller supported a drive over 2 TB.

Plugged right into my Windows 8.1 machine. Used with Storage Spaces. Drive is performing as expected.

My cousin's mom bought this for him for Christmas to replace the hard drive in his PS4. Had to return it, because it didn't fit (needed a laptop hard drive).

I needed to replace the internal hard drive in my desktop computer because I could no longer access the computer. This was WD 3TB internal hard drive was available so I purchased it. It has been in my computer four about a month now and is working without any problems.

We needed more space for our computer and you get plenty of space with this.

I've always used western digital. This is a great drive. It doesn't make strange sounds.

This is an excellent drive to use as extra storage or if you're building a DVR or PVR using applications like MythTV. Due to the slow ration speed of 5400RPM, I do not recommend this to be used as a main OS drive as it would just be too slow.

I needed to replace the hard drive on my computer. I asked one of the associates and he recommended this Western Digital Hard Drive. It works just perfectly! So far so good, no problems and everything is running just perfect.

I use these drives for work when I have to collect and store data. Great product.
