This thing needed to come with some instructions.

The Acronis software, while truncated, was okay, but WD changed to different software for the install sometime between when I bought the drive and when I installed it. As a result, it did not move boot partitions reliably, and I had to do some jigging about to make things work properly. As it was, I lost some data on the install. Would have been nice to let us know.

Great replacement HD

Unfortunately, the motherboard in the computer was defective and I had to trash it. Since there was no room in the new computer for the WD drive, I mounted the WD drive in a external enclosure and use it for photo and video back-up. It works great for that.
