WD - Mainstream 3TB Internal Serial ATA Hard Drive for Desktops. We had to purchase these new drives after we got hit with a virus. So glad.that Best Buy had what we needed when we needed it.

I purchased this drive to use with a 2-slot USB drive device. I loaded all of my files I wanted backed up and now use it as my primary backup drive. It runs cool and quiet. A great choice for backups!

Had to replace another hard drive that was showing errors in son's work computer. WD drives are always easy to setup and configure and I rarely have problems with them as I have had with other brands.

Kid bought this for his computer. Was recommended by an employee. Still working great and kid is on the computer a lot with school!

It's a slower drive but I'm using it as an offline backup device. And it was on sale for $50 so it was a win-win all the way around. Would've been nice if it was faster but since it's more for archival purposes it's not that big of a deal since it sits on a shelf most of the time.

I needed some additional space for my gaming pc. I'm a WD fan so I started shopping. As always BB had the best price. Way cheaper than online retailers. BB did not disappoint yet again.

Compatible w/ my existing cpu, easy to replace & installation. However I'm disappointed that my previous data wasn't recovered by the technicians of geek squad.

I have had this WD 3tb hard drive for a couple of months now and have had no issues so far. It is installed in my desktop computer and gets lots of run time. It was just what I needed.

Replaced my primary 1TB HDD with this 3TB drive and it is working great and I'm able to do numerical data processing on it with no issues and with great reads/writes.

Kind of a product but time will tell will find out if the product glass being a hard drive it's hard to describe quality but as I said if it lasts I consider a good

I really wish that I bought two or three or four of these because after 5 years they are still going strong with no signs of slowing down

A good drive. I am using 1 of these 3tb WD drives for primary storage alongside a SSD for the C: drive. The drive. I have noticed that these drives are cost effective compared to black drives, so I chose these.

Would be good for your PC but didn't fit mine at all.

WD drives are some of the most reliable drives I have worked with. Watch for sales and you can always catch a good deal at Best Buy for them.

I've had this for a while and the drive works well. It replaced a drive that went bad after 8 years. Hopefully this will last just as long.

A good internal hard drive should work fine out of the box. This one did, but I was unable to partition it to get the full 3 TB on my dated tower. My bad.

Perfect for what I needed it for. Write speed is exactly what you would expect for this kind of hard drive.

Works as expected! Added to a Cyberpower Desktop and it recognized it immediately. No issues.

Had a little issue with formatting the drive using Windows 7 but then used Windows 10 and it was fine!
