What can be said? Western Digital is a household name in hard drives. This drive does exactly what I needed it to do.

A friend gave me his old MacbookPro, but I am unable to reinstall the OS. He thought that, perhaps, the hard drive had failed, so I purchased this for a replacement. The drive is great, but I think the OS software is flawed. Waiting to purchase new software or try to download old OS.

its been a good computer. so i got it fix for my granddaughter who has a hard time seeing small. so a tablet wouldn't work

Was installed by Geek Squad and the overall computer works well,but still cannot get Outlook to function properly.

I got this to replace a hard drive that failed in my laptop (Seagate go figure), and it works flawlessly, had to format it first before I could use it, did that by connecting it to an other PC via USB. It is no SSD but Western Digital has always proven to be reliable for me in my books.

Used with an external hard drive case for a small portable external hard drive to use on the go.

Purchased to replace a failed hard drive. Good quality product to recondition an older computer to use a s a backup.

Installed this because my HD in my laptop was failing. Install was uneventful and I used USB SATA adapter to clone the old drive to the new one. While certainly not an SSD, this drive is not a laggard either. It functions well enough in my laptop with a Core i3 processor. Would recommend.

While a solid state drive would have made this APU-equipped laptop faster, this is significantly less expensive and does the trick for a young college student.

These Western Digital hard drives are a solid mainstay in the industry. Consistent quality production with good performance. It would be nice if they would standardize all their desktop and laptop consumer drives on 7200RPM motors, instead of so many laptop drives still using 5400RPM, as they'd probably save some money at scale by not having to build 2 different motors, and increasing performance for customers.

My technical support guy says this is a awesome hard drive for the price and it is a very dependable product. Every since I purchased it and it was installed it has been working like a charm. Thanks Best Buy for providing quality products at a affordable price and with no shipping fees.
