    I purchased this hard drive because there weren't many styles available and my buddy was in need of a budget friendly drive to replace one in his just out of warranty laptop. Despite not being a fast spinning device, it works well and I would recommend.

    I have trusted WD drives going back to the 90's. Not only do I fine the drives reliable but their website make it easy to check the drive statistics, such as manufacture date. Important to make sure you are getting a new drive and not a remanufacture part.

    Great price, easy to install. If a Windows machine the original product key is stored in the computer. This allows you to install from any installation CD or download from Microsoft.

    WD have been an overall good brand for the last 20 years that I know, this disk may not be the fastest or the biggest but it is what I need, got this as a replacement for an old unit... good brand, quality product at affordable price

    I bought this because my son's labtop computer was not working. After putting in a new hard drive I loaded the windows on the computer. It was very easy to use. I was impressed that this product (windows) was on a flash drive and not a CD.

    Laptop was freezing up, and would not go in the net, slow to start and load. Thought it was a virus when we took it in, but the Pros at the Geek Squad said it was the hard drive. Covered by my Geek Squad warranty for labor, just had to pay for the part. Works great, very happy.
