    I have always relied on Western Digital hard drives and have never been disappointed. This one is working as expected as a replacement for a failed one of another brand. Not much to look at it, but it works great.

    I don’t have a preference in SeaGate vs WD but this hard was on sale at the time I bought it and it was the best price per GB at the time. I would definetly buy this again. So far I have had no issues with this hard drive at all.

    Replaced a failed hard drive in my laptop with this WD hard drive. It could be me, but it actually seems faster than the stock drive. I really didn't expect a performance improvement, since I was replacing a drive of the same size. A pleasant surprise.

    We now seem to be required to buy one of these devices since they no longer come with the computer. At least the device is reasonably priced and works fine. Another device that needs to be carried along if you want to use cd's pr dvd's.

    I had a laptop that went completely blank on me and did nothing. The geek squad was so helpful and told me I needed to get a new hard drive. My computer was like new and ha da been doing well ever since!!

    Used it to refurbish an old Dell laptop for a family member. Was able to plug it in and install Debian Linux on it with absolutely zero hassle. Completely plug and play.

    The hard rive was going out on my laptop and needed to be replaced. Working with the Geek Squad this appeared to be the most cost effective replacement for the Hard dirve. I also added more storage to the computer. I would highly recommend the hard drive.

    The drive was purchased as a replacement for a failed drive in an older computer. The drive was installed by the Geek Squad, and has worked without failure since the installation.. My computer is on for at least eight hours a day.
