Great WD drive

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.~These 2.5" form factor SATA hard drives (now 500gb), are well built, and reliable as any North American production hard drives, thankfully prices for tech gear have come down over the years...These drives are a good replacement for OEM installed drives (factory originals) for everyday use, and quite affordable..they make great backup drives as well, when installed into a sata case ~ aka "hard drive (portable usb) enclosure", overall a good value, priced at just under $50 for 500gb of storage...Brian is Bee2the3rd in Santa Monica ~^~

The Geek Squad explained the installation process to me like I was a 5 year old....they made it that easy. Hard drive went in...turned it on... Windows 10 installed...Windows found all the driver's...I then went and got all my stuff which I had backed up on G Drive and like magic... I was back in business. $50 and some great free advice saved me $1000 replacing this laptop... which is now the "same as it ever was".

Great harddrive for small business -

It works well and the service was excellent although a little expensive.... The hard drive was reasonably priced....

Great for laptop rebuild

Computer works fine now. I upgraded my laptop after crash but decided to save the old one for the kids. Can prob get a few more years out of it.
