As a computer tech I have only had to send in 2 for replacement ever. Western Digital is very good about honoring their warranty and in a timely manor. these drives are also fast and have great transfer rates. Not as slow as a lot of the other competition. Hitachi drives also have very low failure rates, while Seagate drives show the highest failure rates.
