Worked well, no issues, i am using this few months now.

this product was easy to install, the price was great compared to others, my laptop runs like a new computer now.

This drive was installed on an older Toshiba laptop running Vista and seems to be performing well. It's slightly more noisy but doesn't seem to affect the performance.I'm sure most wouldn't even notice the noise.If it were possible I would give this a 4.5 out of 5.

I have been very pleased with this WD hard drive and others I have purchased. They are much more reliable than some other brands I have tried. I will only buy WD hard drives for replacements or backup.

This was the only new hard drive I could find that had all the right connections for my OLD desk top computer. This one is for a Laptop and it's way too small for my desk Top but after I got it all connected it works great. And it's a lot bigger in gigs than the one that crashed. It's a great product. it was formatted and ready for use within a seconds. If you are tired of deleting games to make room for new ones, then I highly recommend this external drive. 2 TB's of valuable space added in seconds. My console was sluggish with the internal drive almost at capacity, once I transferred a few hundred gigs over, my console is now a lot more responsive! you will love it when things work as they should.

This was purchased as a replacement hard drive after my DD dropped her computer and the old hard drive failed to boot up anymore. It has been reliable, was easy to install and took the image no problem.

I installed this drive in my wife's laptop and used her old drive for a backup drive. Her old drive was slow and small (250 gig). Loaded Windows 7 without a hitch. Still performing perfectly.

Great performance and price. It was easy to install and get up and running. I would recommend to any of my friends.

One of my laptops stop working due to a defective HDD and this one solved the problem for less than $45. Keep in mind that WD offers the best quality and warranty as well.

Since it was only 500 GB my system would not recognize it. Had to let BB format the drive for me. Other than that little set back this is a great drive for the price.

During most of my experiences in working with hard drives, Western Digitals have lasted the longest. This was a decent priced one for everyday home computing. I would buy this again.

I needed a new hard drive for my laptop. There were only two left and I bought both. I have two laptops down hard. The product is working just fine. No problems.

I bought two of these hard drives after getting a really good deal on them. one for my macbook and one for my ps3. Both work great and really helped me out with getting the memory I needed.

My wife's laptop hard drive failed and the Geek Squad come through! They replaced the hard drive with the WD 500GB and restored her data. The laptop has performed flawlessly since.

By replacing the hard drive on an older Gateway laptop that no longer worked, I now have an operating computer on the lower level of our home. It is working much faster than before and is saving me time.
