The drive was decent quality and storage size for the price.

This is a solid hard drive. No complaints at all. My hard drive was failing so replacing it with this one has my computer running faster than it did when I bought it. Great for the money.

My Laptop is 5 years old but functional for the purpose I use it for. It needed a new hard drive and it was cheaper than a new computer plus I like repairing and reusing. Working great now.

The hard drive came with adequate installation instructions and was easier to accomplish than expected. The hard drive was a cost effective way to boost the capabilities of my laptop.

This is a Good Hard Drive, but I was really looking for a 7200 RPM speed Hard Drive. No where on the box did it say what the RPM speed is. Big difference between a 5900 and 7200 RPM speed Hard Drive.

After my hard drive gave out, I finally bought a new one. I didn't need a big hard drive, so after some searching I found this 500 GB. Overall I am very satisfied with this product.

I have an old, fat 60GB Playstation 3 and finally filled up the memory. This HDD was reasonably priced and comes from a trusted company. It was simple to install into my system and has tons of capacity. Great buy!

This is the second replacement for the hard drive in my notebook computer. The original and first replacement (under warranty) were of a different brand. I am hoping to have much better luck with this hard drive.

Bought them for two old laptops. Worked out perfectly. Installation was easy. They could have been less "pricey" being that these are not ssd.

Brought my laptop in for repair with Geek Squad. Turns out my hard drive was done. They made the recommendation of the WD 500GB. It's reasonable and quite efficient so far.

needed a 500 gig HD because the factory re-install wouldn't load to anything else;. to keep things simple i chose the same size and mfg as original. the install went smoothly and efficiently.

This product was an even replacement for the hard drive in my laptop. Although if I had been told I could have gotten a SSD Hard Drive instead of one equal to what was originally in my laptop, I would have gone with the SSD.

good service however I thought that the protection plan would have covered more than it actually did...I had to pay to have my info backed up and also a new hard drive---the plan just covered the labor I did receive my repaired computer earlier than initially promised

Western Digital has been doing a bang up job on hard drives since I began doing business in 1996. Probably before then but I wouldn't know. Don't seem to have batches of them go bad like other vendors.
