I have had my computer serviced about once a year. When I needed a new hard drive I was confident the Geek Squad Tech would advise me which one would be best. I was not disappointed.

I bought the new WD - 500GB to replace for my dead one on my laptop and the new WD fit and it has been running nicely for over a month.

There're fewer and fewer reasons to buy a mechanical harddrive instead of an SSD drive. Cost was my primary reason but it was going in an old system and I also had some compatibility concerns. All I can say is ... It works

I purchased this product because the hard drive in my laptop which is two years old went bad. After installation everything is back up to normal and running great.

These hard drives will work alright but I would recommend saving up your money for a SSD since you would get better performance but if you are on a budget this will work.

Been working with personal computers since 1988. Have worked with various vendors and my personal choice out of all the hard disk vendors is by far Western Digital.

Used in my Dell Inspiron 17R 5721. 5 minute install time. 2 year warranty at a reasonable price. Similar replacement drive from Dell was $90.00 more.

A new hard drive from Western Digital, 500Gb this time. WD always is quality with good prices. Do you need a new HD in your computer? This is for you! Recommended!

Great price for data back up drive - had it 8 months and have not had any read or write issues with it. Most recommendations suggest using WD "black" series for use in computers but for storage of date, files, etc, this series works just fine.

Curser doesn't work properly on Dell or HP laptop. Spoke to geek squad several times, only temporary fix. Reinstalled curser software; still don't work. I have to restart the computer to get the curser to work properly.

I'm sure it's a good drive because I use the desktop models, however it was missing a crucial specification on the box so I couldn't use it. It's 9mm thick which was too much for me.

I thought my computer was ruined and all my data lost but Best Buy recovered all my data and everything works great! Thanks Geeek Squad!

I have bought many WD products and accessories. I have always been pleased with the fact that I can be at ease with this product when I am using it In my laptop.

Replacement hard drive for XBox One. Installed in minutes no issues at all! Been great 9 months and counting.

Product worked as advertised at a good price but the aggravation of going to the store to buy made it a negative experience.
