Worked as described for the xbox x. Was able to download my games. A little too pricey though.

First off, a huge thanks to WD for finally getting some competition in the marketplace for these storage expansion cards. Got this to supplement my Series X as I was getting annoyed with shuffling games between the onboard HD and my external SSD (Series X games won't launch from an external drive of any sort). This was a no-brainer at about 35% less than the typical price for an extra TB of storage for these ginormous games we have nowadays; transfer is lightning-fast and games launch with zero issues. Does exactly what it needs to do!

Bought it to expand my Xbox X, glad I did! System seems to move faster, able to store more games. Overall, very pleased with my purchase. Western Digital very good company, have 2 external Hard Drives, this Expansion Card just made sense! Easy plug n play, makes storage better!

Super easy to install. Xbox recognized it instantly. Thanks to this brand xbox storage it's getting cheaper. Hopefully soon it get more gb.

Odd that theres only 920GB free on the 1TB drive. That’s a significant chunk taken up but I guess thats ok. Works great and I dont see any differences from internal games and this additional drive. Worth it if you get it on sale.

This is as plug and play as it gets! My series x automatically recognized it as a storage drive, and I had no issues installing games to the drive! At $100, this is worth every penny!!

Im not sure why i put off buying one of these storage expansions for my Xbox Series X, but I’m glad I finally did. If you’re tired of shuffling your installed games onto and off of of the console’s HD, or transferring them back and forth from an ext unit, this is the way to go. Just slap it into the expansion bay, make sure the console recognizes it, and away you go. It serves up solid space, abd is truly no muss no fuss.

My son absolutely loves this! Doubled the amount of games and have had zero issues with it.
