I love the storage in this external hard drive. you only get 9.09TB of free space but that works for me to backup my family's data. overall great product. Also dropped it off the coffee table and still performs like a champ!

It has the best storage ever and has such an easy use and more than anything i can save everything i have on my phone

This is advertized as a 10TB drive, but only a little over 9TB is usable. I understand this is how the drive is formatted, but I think the manucfacturers across the board could be more forthcoming with this information. Otherwise, this drive works great to backup all my family photos and home movies. I was able to purchase it at a great price over the holidays at $159.99 and because this price reduction is frequent I highly recommend you wait for the deal to come around again!

So far so good....i have 2 that i use as backups (1st and 2nd backup)...i don't never it l plugged in all the time, only when i need to backup processed videos and pictures. I like how large the capacity is. With 2 as backups, when 1 falls, I'll pick up a new one to fill it's place.

The WD - Easystore 10TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive - Black was just what i needed to store all of my Steam Games that were filling up multiple drives. Now i can fit them all on 1 drive with plenty of space left. Only issue is slightly noisy but understandably due to the size.

Its usb 3.0 and very fast and is portable Nd goes i to sleep mode to conserver power. Great for backing up windows computers to keep from losing files. Great for multiple backups to keep all revisions of your work files

This external hard drive was extremely easy to install and use. Has been working great and is very quiet.

The WD - easystor 10TB External USB-3.0 drive is great. It has a small footprint with plenty of storage and comes with included software that allows you to import your data of files from a few popular cloud storage providers like google, Dropbox, and OneDrive.

Drive works great. I get over 200MB/sec transfer rate on a USB3 port. Unit seems to be solidly built and works well. I held back one star because of the software. It installs encryption software and when I run it it says the drive does not support encryption. They shouldn't install the encryption software if the drive doesn't support it and leave the user wondering if their drive should support it. I haven't used the rest of the software much, but the good thing is that you can use whatever other software you want.

I've been using two of these drives for backing up my PCs for the past few months. They have been working well without issue using the backup software that comes with the drive (actually on the drive). It is easy to setup and use. Getting it on-sale was a bonus!

The Easystore is being used as a Time Machine backup drive and has become invisible on my work deck: it sits behind a large monitor and is so quiet that I have forgotten it is there. Time Machine reports complete and constant backups, so I am completely satisfied.

This item does its job expanding my computer from 1tb to 11tb and transfer is quick and seamless. However if you move or knock it while using it, it will blink out and you won’t lose anything but you’ll just have to undock, power down, and reconnect. So don’t knock it!

I have transfer all my photos and videos to this storage unit, holds up great. transfer data okay, not the fastest. I would recommend this if you have limited data on your SD memory cards or USB drives, then would transfer that to the Easystore. Work as designed.

The price for this drive, at Best Buy in particular is great. I have an unRAID server and all I had to do was crack the case open and plug the drive up like any other internal hdd (I did have to remove a pin but it is super easy and worked out great).

Lots of storage, especially for the price. Not as loud as some people say. Easy to pick up one hour after making on-line order. Will buy more in the future. I'll raise my review quality to 5 stars after using it for a few years with no break downs.

I have always favored Western Digital hard drives, external in particular. This USB 3.0 is fast and accurate. Love the fact it has software tools that can check the health status and render it on sleep mode when not active. Am very pleased with it's performance!

I tried using a 2TB, a 5TB, and a 1TB in 3 different USB ports on my desktop with Lightroom. I quickly discovered that it was hard to find which external hard drive stored what I was looking for. The 10TB worked wonders. I might get a 2nd one as a backup.

Solid and easy to use. The form factor (case) and cable length can make it a bit difficult to use with a laptop, however, depending on where you are sitting. Still, it's 10TB and as I'm using it for backup that's really not that much of a problem!

Ever since my old external hard drive crashed many years ago I’ve learned not to rely on a single back up drive. So now I added this one to my existing 5Gb one and after a long time copying files, I set it up to do incremental backups.

I bought this on sale for half off. It's great. It holds lots of Data. It holds more than I'll ever need. I search for many many deals before I got lucky and saw this one come up on sale. I jumped on it immediately. Hope it works as well for you as it does for me.
